On january the 4th 2011, Mohammed Bouazizi a street vendor from Sidi Bouzid, 26 years old, dies after his attempt to kill himself by immolation two keeks earlier. Two young Tunisians reported that dramatic event with their mobile phone and few hours later uploaded it on Al Jazeera. The broadcast of this video will rise thousands of protesters in all the country.

On january the 14th 2011, Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali President of Tunisia and his famous wife Leila Trabelsi as know as "The regent of Carthage" are forced to escape the country after 24 years of power.
The revolution is not finish yet, Ben Ali is gone nevertheless a democratic President still needs to emerge.
